Terms of service
The terms on which Hutstack Technologies Limited provides WorkOS. Your signed order form or subscription agreement takes precedence where the two differ.
Last updated: 5 August 2026
1. Agreement
These terms form an agreement between Hutstack Technologies Limited, of 8a Oje Imianvan Street, Oregun, Lagos, Nigeria, and the organisation subscribing to WorkOS (“you”). By creating an account or using the service you accept them. Where you have signed a separate order form or master agreement with us, that document governs and these terms fill any gaps.
2. The service
WorkOS is a hosted business management platform comprising HR, projects, CRM, accounting, chat, client portal and notification modules, along with the supporting features described on this website. We may add, improve or retire individual features; we will give reasonable notice before removing anything material you rely on.
3. Your account
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide.
- You are responsible for your users’ actions, for keeping credentials confidential, and for removing access when someone leaves your organisation.
- Accounts are per named user and must not be shared. There is no per-user fee; client portal access is not a user account.
- Tell us promptly if you believe an account has been compromised.
4. Fees and payment
Fees are charged monthly in Naira based on your plan’s server configuration and storage allowance, unless otherwise agreed, at the rate in your order form. Adding users does not change your fees. Monthly plans are billed in advance each month; annual plans are billed in advance for the year. Invoices are payable within 14 days. We may suspend access to accounts more than 30 days overdue after written notice. Prices may change at renewal with at least 30 days’ notice.
5. Trials
Free trials run for the period stated at signup and require no payment card. We may end a trial early where it is being misused. Data created during a trial carries over if you subscribe, and is deleted 30 days after the trial ends if you do not.
6. Your data
You own everything you put into WorkOS. We process it only to provide and support the service, in line with our privacy policy. You may export your data at any time, and we will provide a full portable export on request during your subscription and for 30 days afterwards.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to use WorkOS to:
- break any applicable law, or infringe anyone’s rights;
- store or transmit malware, or attempt to breach or probe our systems without consent;
- resell, sublicense or white-label the service without our written agreement;
- place a load on the service designed to degrade it for other customers.
Security researchers acting in good faith should follow the disclosure process on our security page; clause two above is not aimed at you.
8. Availability and support
We aim to keep WorkOS available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted service on standard plans. Planned maintenance is notified in advance where practical. Enterprise customers may contract a specific availability target and response times. Support is provided during business hours, Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm West Africa Time.
9. Intellectual property
We retain all rights in the WorkOS software, brand and documentation. You receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service during your subscription. Feedback you give us may be used to improve the product without obligation to you.
10. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for fraud or death and personal injury caused by negligence. Subject to that, neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue or anticipated savings, and our total liability in any twelve-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period.
11. Term and termination
Subscriptions renew automatically for successive periods unless cancelled before the renewal date. Either party may terminate for material breach that is not remedied within 30 days of written notice. On termination your access ends, and we delete your data within 90 days unless you request an earlier deletion or the law requires retention.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and the courts of Lagos State have exclusive jurisdiction. The parties will attempt in good faith to resolve any dispute by negotiation before starting proceedings.
